JFTconv User's Guide ( 130 k. / updated Nov. 25, 02 )

JFTconv is a simple utility to
convert databases between Access and JFile 5.x and 5.5x formats. It supports reading and writing
database formats from any version of Access that your installed version (Access 97 or 2000
/ XP or greater) will support, and JFile 5.x and 5.5x on the Palm. The older 3.x
and 4.x versions
of JFile are not supported.
JFTconv can be run from a standard Windows interface or from a command line that permits
its use in batch processing or other types of automation. It can even be run from
within a custom Access application. It also supports the use of Templates, that save
your field and other settings for easy reuse, from both the interface and the command
line. When converting from Access to JFile, you can select the fields to convert and
their order in the resulting JFile PDB file. JFTconv also supports JFile popup
lists, and will save the list data in the Access file along with the associated table
data.
JFTconv is available in two versions, one for Access 97 users, and one for users of Access 2000 / XP or greater. JFTconv is designed to run under all versions of Windows.
JFTconv 2000 is identical to JFTconv in terms of the feature set and operation. The only difference is that it uses the Access 2000 / XP data engine to read or write Access format files.

JFTconv 2000 :
JFile is technically not required, but seeing as JFTconv and JFTconv 2000 works only with JFile PDB files, it would be somewhat strange to use either product without it.
JFTconv and JFTconv 2000 are compatible with JFile 5.50 or greater only.
Download the User's Guide in PDF format to obtain more complete information on JFTconv / JFTconv 2000 and their feature set.
